Brian worked 34-plus years as a senior acquisition official for the federal government. During his 28 year career at CMS, he served as a Group Director and his three contracting divisions awarded over $1.5 billion each year. He is also fiction and nonfiction author. His book How to Market & Sell to the U.S. Government, A View from the Inside has been highly regarded and recommended by industry. He has served for over three years as the Master of Ceremony for the National Contract Management Association Woodlawn Chapter and is currently the chapter's Secretary. He received a Masters Degree in Natural Resource Strategy from National Defense University, Industrial College of the Armed Forces and a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration & Production from the University of Baltimore.
